Applicants for allotments can now check their position on the following list. New applicants are automatically allocated an ID number which is known only to themselves and the staff, and are added to the list. The list will be updated as and when necessary so applicants can check how close they are to the top of the list. The average wait for an allotment is between 1 and 3 years appoximately. The revision date is at the bottom of the list.

Allotments
Newark Town Council currently has 5 Allotment Sites within the boundaries of the Town. There are 173 plots altogether, of varying sizes. They are located at:
* Barnby Road * Fleming Drive
* Bowbridge Road * Hawton Road
* Bowbridge Road * Hawton Road
* St Catherines
An allotment lease lasts for one year and the current cost is 11.33p per square metre.
Tenancies are renewed on a yearly basis.
