An Extra-Ordinary Meeting of the Town Council was held on Tuesday 23rd June at 7.30pm in the Town Hall, following the recent Beacon Ward elections which put the Town Council back up to its full complement of Councillors.

At the meeting Councillor Dean Hyde was elected to serve as the Deputy Town Mayor for the ensuing Civic Year.

Other business included appointing the Leader of the Town Council (Councillor David Lloyd) and the membership of the Council's various Committees.
