Books of Condolence

You can access the Church of England and Royal Palace Books of Condolence here:

Physical books of condolence will be available at St Mary’s Church during the period of mourning as follows:

Friday 9th September 9am - 5pm
Saturday 10th September 9am - 3pm
Sunday 11th September CHURCH SERVICES
Monday 12th September 9am - 3pm
Tuesday 13th September 9am - 3pm
Wednesday 14th September

9am - 7pm - later time for those unable to attend during the day

Thursday 15th September 9am - 3pm
Friday 16th September 9am - 3pm
Saturday 17th September 9am - 3pm
Sunday 18th September CHURCH SERVICES
Monday 19th September Anticipated day of Funeral (to be confirmed)


Floral Tributes

Those wishing to leave floral tributes are asked to do so in the area around the War Memorial adjacent to Appleton Gate (at the rear of St Mary’s Church).

All floral tributes will be collected the day after the funeral and will be composted. We therefore ask that no plastic wrappers are included to allow for ease of composting.

Church Services

There will be a service of reflection at 5pm at St Mary’s Church on Friday 9th September.

There will be a service to commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II at St Mary’s Church at 11.15am on Sunday 11th September.

There will be a dedicated service on Sunday 18th September, the details of which will be confirmed in due course.
